I needed a day out; away from the house, aside from my usual trips to the grocery store and to my bikram yoga classes. So I invited my friend Shannon to join me at the Arlington County Fair that was coming to a close that weekend. We didn’t do much other than walk around and play one game where we had to get a slinky to land on our forehead (sadly, I wasn’t able to accomplish this simple task!), oh, and eat awesome fair food! I had already had lunch before leaving for the fair so I indulged in fresh squeezed lemonade and deep fried Oeros! It was good to get out of the house, enjoy the nice weather and of course, obligatory girl talk!
