Elle and Olaf flew into Washington, DC from Chicago to get married by the first judge that Olaf worked for in Virginia.
They both decided that a big wedding was not what they wanted and that something small and intimate would be perfect for the two of them. I met them at the Lincoln Memorial at sunrise for some portraits before they headed to meet with the judge who would marry them. They were married in a small ceremony with their immediate families in attendance and that was what mattered most to them.
I am so glad I was able to capture some portraits for the two of them to celebrate this time in their life and to highlight one of their favorite cities, Washington, DC where they lived for two years before moving to Chicago.
