This summer music themed wedding at The Silk Mill in Fredericksburg, VA. The details were filled with deep, beautiful jewel toned colors. The bride made the bouquets and centerpieces herself from flowers she picked up from the farmer’s market that morning.
The bride incorporated unique personal touches such as a tiny violin. She wore a deep v-neck dress with an open back and intricate lace detailing with class nude heels. She wore her hair down in beautiful, flawless waves.
The groom and groomsmen wore classic blue suits accented by black bow ties. The groomsmen were gifted festive socks by the groom and had personalities to match.
After sharing a first look with her dad on the staircase of the Inn, the bride then headed outside to the courtyard to share a private first look with her soon to be husband.
During the wedding ceremony the bride was escorted down the aisle with both her parents. After some words from the officiant, the couple opted to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich as a unity ceremony. They then shared personal vows, exchanged rings, and shared their first kiss as husband and wife.
The wedding reception was the type where everyone was on the dance floor all night. There was a photo booth, a station for temporary tattoos, and cookies and ice cream for dessert.
We snuck out at sunset for some more photos with a light sprinkle, which made for beautiful photos with an umbrella.
The night ended with a sparkler exit and the party continued at a local bar in downtown Frederickburg.
