This weekend started off with a girls night with my friend Shannon. On Friday, she picked me from my slug line where I usually wait for a stranger to pick me and up and drive me to my commuter lot. We waited for one more rider so we could utilize the 95 Express Lanes without having to pay tolls. Then we made our way to my favorite grocery store, Wegmans. I picked up groceries for this week as well as something for us to eat that even. We went back to my house, had crab stuffed salmon with asparagus for dinner, sipped roscato and watched “The Other Woman.” If you haven’t seen that movie yet, go ahead and do it! It’s on HBO On Demand and it’s hilarious!
Saturday, my sister, Gabbie and my niece, Allie came over to hang out. I had initially planned on baking cookies with Allie. But after making us spaghetti for lunch, it completely slipped my mind! After Gabbie and Allie left, I spent the rest of the day on the couch relaxing. Something I haven’t been able to do on a Saturday in weeks and I am so thankful!
I slept in Sunday morning and it felt good. After getting up and having breakfast, I headed to Starbucks to get some schoolwork done. I knew that if I stay at home I’d end up binging on Netflix and not realizing what time it was til it was too late. After spending three hours doing statistics, I went to see my friend Lauren, who is the manager at Zoe’s Kitchen. We chatted for a while and then I headed home to meal prep for this week.
