I was so excited to meet Natalie and James for their engagement session at the Tidal Basin in Washington, DC. Natalie was so sweet over email that I couldn’t wait to meet her and James. They haven’t set a date for their Florida wedding in 2018 yet, but wanted to take advantage of the gorgeous Japanese Cherry Blossoms while they were in full bloom. I was ecstatic that this is where they wanted to have their engagement photos taken because I have lived in the area the majority of my life and have never visited the blossoms while they were in bloom. The closest I ever got was looking at them through my window at work.
Natalie and James were such pros in front of the camera! I barely even gave any direction to them. They were always whispering things to each other, giggling together or just snuggling up to keep warm and I couldn’t have been happier to capture two people in love.
