Ryan contacted me for recommendations for photographers in the San Diego area to capture his proposal to Brittany. I knew that I would be flying there in April and when he told me that he was planning for sometime in April, I knew I had to be there to photograph it. Ryan is like a brother to my husband making him family and we’re so excited to add Brittany to the mix.
Ryan had a newpaper printed with photos of him and Brittany along with his version of how they met. The headline of the paper read, “Brittany Bix will you marry me?”
Ryan and Brittany have just moved in together and Ryan suggested they have their photos taken so they could display them in their new home. I began taking their pictures and as we were scouting for more locations Ryan found a rock that had “Will you marry me?” carved into it. We headed to the rock, put Brittany in place, handed her the newspaper and once she realized what it had said, Ryan got down on one knee and proposed. Brittany was in shock and it was adorable to see the reaction on her face!
