The whole day of Brittney and Adrain’s wedding was a party. As soon as I stepping in to their room at the Wyndam at National Harbor, I knew it was going to be fun day. The music the ladies had playing while they got ready in the hotel took me back to middle and high school. There were tons of laughs, a running man challenge and because the ladies all looked so fabulous there were definitely a lot of selfies.
Brittney and her maids have all known each other for 16 years and grew up playing basketball together. They all, especially Mia, made me feel a lot shorter than 5’2″. Not only were the ladies talented with their dances moves, but Mia assisted with Brittney’s make-up and Terran was responsible for the amazing curls that adorned Brittney’s gorgeous face.
After I finished with the girls, I headed to The Villa at Calverton to meet with the groomsmen. Adrain and his family all looked so happy and ready to officially unite their families. As Brittney made her way down the aisle she was smiling from ear to ear, as Adrain did his best to hold back tears.
The wedding party pretty much danced their way into the reception and after the first dances, everyone else followed suit and danced the entire night way. DJ Ngenius kept with the old school music and the whole night was a party and Brittney and Adrain wouldn’t have had it any other way.
A very special thank to Emily, of Emily Marie Photography for helping me capture this special day for Brittney and Adrain’s wedding at The Villa at Calverton.
